Khalid Abbas
CEO of CYC & Player Insight Specialist
Khalid Abbas is known as the pillar of CYC Academy and through his passion for the game and his creative mindset, the company thrives. Khalid started his career as a footballer playing for several teams in Wales such as Cardiff Corinthians FC, Cardiff and Vale College Football Academy and Cymoedd College Football Academy.
‘’My passion for coaching developed when I started to realise the need for positive role models in my community. Children require someone to motivate and guide them in order for them to develop a strong feeling of self-confidence. I love to make a positive impact on young children's lives by offering them sports’’.

Experience
Khalid began his coaching career in Wales at Caerau Ely. While studying, he also worked for Chelsea FC Foundation, where he was able to work with the U4 and U16. He also coached with CS Rangers as a head coach for the under 9 squad, and he is currently a head of football at Harris Academy Wimbledon.
Coaching Qualifications
Khalid is an FA/FAW Level 2 qualified coach who is presently working on his UEFA B Licence and is a graduate with Chelsea Football Club Foundation Coaching & Development BSc (Hons). He is also certified in First Aid in Football, safeguarding and has an enhanced DBS check.​

Ibrahim Adu
CYC Sport coordinator & coach
Clinton began playing sports at a young age and has a strong enthusiasm and passion for sports. He enjoys communicating with the people he works with and is committed to giving them the greatest sport session experience possible. His open personality makes him a likeable chap and is a great asset to our team.
''I personally believe that coaches create athletes, and that with the correct qualities and skills as a coach, children can grow up into great sports leaders in our society. My objective as a sports coach is to create an environment where kids can play, have fun, and learn.''

Experience
Clinton began his coaching career with the London Tigers F.C. As an assistant coach, he worked with the U14 Tigers. He then spent a year working at Chelsea Foundation Football Club while studying with them. His next important move was working as a graduate sports assistant at Rokeby Prep School, where he worked with youngsters aged 6 to 14.
Coaching Qualifications
Clinton holds an FA level 1 coaching licence and is aiming towards a UEFA C licence. He also has a bachelor's degree from St Mary's University in Football Education, Coaching, and Development. He is a British Dodgeball introduction to School and Officiating Dodgeball credential holder.

Mustafa Abbas
Football lead coach
Mustafa is an energetic individual who enjoys coaching youngsters with great attention and enthusiasm. His ability to get the best out of children is outstanding, and he has had a significant impact on the day-to-day functioning of the CYC programme.

Experience
Mustafa started his coaching journey in Wales and studied at West London University. Mustafa has worked for clubs across the west London borough with the likes of CS rangers U12s and now works as a football lead coach in CYC academy across all our age groups.
Coaching Qualifications
Mustafa now holds an FA/FAW level 2 coaching badge and plans to obtain his UEFA B licence in the near future. He is first aid, safeguarding, and DBs cleared.
